Q: Are the meeting free?

A: For visitors, for the first two meetings, yes. To join, no.

Q: What does it cost to join?

A: There is a one time application fee of $50, then $100 per year for membership dues, lastly there is a $7 per week meeting fee.

Q: What do these fees pay for?

A: Many things, for example the nametags, business card books, breakfasts, any fees for renting of meeting space, this web site, group expenses such as Xerox copies and binders, charitable donations the group votes to donate to, and much more.

Q: Is this a new group?

A: In name only, some of the members have been in a networking group together for many years.

Q: Will I get referrals at every meeting?

A: While it is possible, it is not likely you will get one at every meeting. Every member that has been asked says that they get far more in referrals than they spend in fees, besides, we are a lot of fun to meet with!

Q: Do I have to bring referrals to every meeting?

A: While we would love for you to do that, it is by no means required. We would much prefer you bring in two very good referrals a month than four that do not turn into sales.

Q: Do I have to be invited to join or to attend a meeting as a visitor?

A: Absolutely not! Come by and say hello!

Q: Are you associated with BNI, Leads, or some other networking organization?

A: No. While some of our members are prior members of other networking groups this group has no affiliation with any other group.

Q: Are you in competition with BNI, Leads or some other networking group?

A: No. There are different groups for different tastes. Some people may prefer Leads, some may prefer our group, some may like both. We are all here to help each other develop our business.

Q: Can anyone join AAR?

A: Yes and no. We allow only one member per profession. For example, only one plumber may be a member. Other than that rule, yes, anyone may apply to be a member.

Q: How can I join AAR?

A: Click on the "Join!" link at the top of the page, print and fill out the application, and bring it to a meeting. If for some reason you can not download or print the application just come by a meeting and we will be happy to provide you with one.
